Oniqua, since acquired by IBM, was a small (40-50 global staff) SaaS provider specialising in Inventory Optimisation for MRO — the operational arms of Mining, Oil and Gas and Utilities companies across dozens of countries. My responsibilities as an Oniqua Analyst under the Customer Success team included:CLIENT ENGAGEMENT Quarterly workshops with Supply Chain managers from BHP, FMG, Newmont and Alcoa to present inventory optimisation progress, to capture and address any further challenges in getting maximum value from Oniqua Analytics Solution (OAS).OPPORTUNITY ASSESSMENTSUsing ERP data for new and existing clients, I assessed current inventory performance against opportunities for improvement — balancing inventory levels using a scientific approach to forecasts and variability buffers.TRAINING AND COACHINGDelivered multi-day workshop sessions to Oniqua's following clients, on-site:• Rio Tinto Oyu Tolgoi (Mongolia)• Rio Tinto Iron Ore (Australia)• Rio Tinto Aluminium (Australia)• Newcrest Lihir (Papua New Guinea)• Newcrest Cadia Valley (Australia)• Peak Gold (Australia)• PT Vale (Indonesia)• Nordgold (Russia)• MRO Logistics / Rumo Rail (Brazil)• Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Co. Responsible for Inventory and Demand Forecasting globally at Aesop, an end-to-end luxury skincare company born in Melbourne and growing rapidly across 12 markets in Europe, United States and East AsiaMilestones:• Maintained Stockturn Ratio (over 7) during Aesop's fastest-ever revenue growth rate, and a 50% YOY growth in weighted-average lead times from Australia, due to the global store investment• Implemented new tools and processes for demand forecasting, and supply and shipment planning, which improved forecast accuracy by incorporating point-of-sale level demand data• Minimised capital and fixed manufacturing costs by optimising production batch sizes, and prioritised expediting efforts to assist the purchasing and logistics teams in reducing stockout risks over this challenging period• Automated data scraping and validation from several warehouse management systems (prior to Aesop's first investment in an ERP system in 2014)

ActewAGL is Canberra's primary utilities provider. From the main (hub) warehouse, an experienced Demand Analyst and I were responsible for managing over $10 Million of inventory in 4 warehouses, for the maintenance and repair of Electricity, Gas, Water assets across the region. Milestones:• Successfully implemented Oniqua OAS, to adopt a scientific approach to Inventory Optimisation for thousands of line items. This experience led to me working for Oniqua directly in 2013. • 8% reduction in Stock On Hand value between 30 June 2011 and 30 March 2012
