In my current role, I support management and serve as the Operation's focal point in technical inter-agency processes and fora and contribute to coalition-building within the organization. This involves various facets such as coordination, advocacy, information dissemination, monitoring, reporting, and communication with UN agencies, governmental bodies, NGOs, and other pertinent stakeholders. Engaging actively in both humanitarian and development processes is key.Additionally, my responsibilities include contributing to the formulation and monitoring of the Joint Workplans of the UN system in Venezuela within the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for the period 2023-2026. The focus here is on applying the Triple Nexus approach encompassing Humanitarian, Development, and Peace aspects.Moreover, I represent UNHCR as a co-chair of the Inter-Agency partnership and financing group. In this capacity, I support managing a portfolio of partnerships and donors. This involves soliciting contributions, ensuring donor stewardship, and analyzing results to optimize resources for the implementation of the UNSDCF. I also play a supportive role in UNHCR's External Relations Unit, aiding in the preparation of documents and presentations for donor meetings.

I acted as the focal point for humanitarian and migration matters between the PM of Venezuela and UNOG. This involved facilitating official visits and meetings while managing protocol and agendas for C-Level leadership in a fast-paced environment.My responsibilities extended to engaging with representatives from other countries to foster collaboration and negotiation towards shared objectives, as well as the following up of meetings and programs from Humanitarian agencies. Additionally, I conducted research, crafted briefings, memoranda, and analyses to present to senior leadership and stakeholders on political, financial, and operational intelligence, including trends analysis and taking into account geographical and thematic priorities. I orchestrated various events such as cultural and academic gatherings, meetings, and conferences, overseeing the coordination and preparation of necessary materials.

Appointed as the focal point for UNESCO's education and social sciences sectors, I oversaw the coordination of public affairs strategies and managed technical activities associated with executing educational projects in Venezuela. Additionally, I played a key role in collaborative projects within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.In addition, I also drafted comprehensive, politically informative, and strategically oriented briefing materials for senior management ahead of meetings, often involving ambassadors and ministers. This involved close coordination with various countries’ representatives and units and departments within the MFA to ensure the inclusion of updated information.My responsibilities included crafting statements and speeches and handling press relations and communications. Moreover, I dedicated three semesters to serving in the Bureau of the Group of Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC), where I coordinated regional initiatives. This involved organizing a spectrum of cultural events, meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, and provided comprehensive background information for events requiring the Ambassador’s representation. I also engaged closely with UNESCO’s External Relations sector to foster effective communication and collaboration.

During my tenure at the MFA, I held the role of Desk Officer for the Republic of Haiti and Caribbean Multilateral Organizations, encompassing CARICOM, OECS, CDB, and ACS. My focus spanned across political, human rights, humanitarian, and energy aspects. I crafted extensive and politically astute briefing materials tailored for senior management in anticipation of donor meetings, frequently engaging high-ranking officials.In this capacity, I provided in-depth technical and political analyses of both domestic and international issues pertinent to Haiti and the regional multilateral organizations. I was actively engaged in monitoring and following up on the Petrocaribe Energy Agreement and its broader social impact. Additionally, I closely tracked Haiti's relations with Latin America and Europe.

Assigned to the International and Public Affairs Management Unit, my responsibilities encompassed overseeing the implementation of the Petrocaribe Energy Agreement and managing commercial exchange processes involving joint ventures with private and state-owned companies in Caribbean countries.My role involved extensive research into the energy generation matrix and trade relations of the Member States. Additionally, I actively contributed as a member of the promotion and marketing team, focusing on establishing new commercial alliances.Moreover, I played an integral role in executing international cooperation initiatives through missions dedicated to humanitarian aid, social assistance, healthcare, as well as cultural and educational exchanges within the Caribbean region.
