In July 2020, Ana joined the Water Justice Hub as a post-doc research fellow on Porf Quentin Grafton's ARC Laureate project. The aim of the research is to improve our understanding of the relationship Indigenous Australians have with water, and recognise water’s economic, environmental and socio-cultural values held by First Peoples.Ana also holds an adjunct research fellow position at the University of Western Australia. Her broader research interests include ecological economics, international development, poverty and inequality, and surfing economics. -

Development of policy recommendations for improved water governance, greater equity of water distribution and reduced socio-economic disparities.+ Thesis submitted in August 2017 and approved in March 2018. Awaiting official graduation ceremony in July 2018. -
