Facilitator and community building specialist supporting purpose-driven organizations, communities and individuals re-imagine the way they work, learn, collaborate and co-create. My work is located at the intersection of learning design, organizational development, community architecture and social impact. Having started my professional learning journey 8 years ago in the areas of HR and organization design, 6 years ago I co-founded Digital Romads, a consulting company facilitating processes through which organizations and communities collaboratively (re)design the way they work and learn together. During this time, on a mission to understand how communities can change for the better when self-directed learning principles are introduced in the educational process, I have spent the last 8 years travelling, researching and connecting with projects and communities from around the world who, through their approaches, are changing the paradigms around learning and education with more learner-centric, self-organized, place-based & regenerative approaches at their core.My journey into the world of student-centered learning design and facilitation started with my experience as a student of the freedom-centered Alternative University (Bucharest, Romania). It was this way that I discovered my interest for autonomous and learner-driven approaches to learning, in which the teacher becomes facilitator of learning processes and the classroom transforms into a learning community. Key skills: community building, facilitation, ecosystem weaving, connecting the dots, people development, organizational development, asking the right questions. I can't get enough of conversations about alternative education, social entrepreneurship, social justice, sustainable and regenerative working and living environments, scuba diving & the marine ecosystem.
