In the last 13 years I have led and participated in the construction of strategies to positively influence public policies in Brazil. I launched projects from scratch with improbable themes and in complex environments. I conducted policy studies and advocacy projects with the public and political sectors at national and regional levels in areas such as social security, political and administrative reforms, competitiveness, basic education and public security. I involved, along with teams I led, more than 300 parliamentarians, 10 senators, 6 ministers and the Presidency of the Republic. I currently work as a Consultant in Advocacy, Strategy and Public Policy. I'm also Co-Chair Brazil & Latam of Nexus - an international network of social impact and philanthropy started at the White House/UN. I am part of the leadership network of the World Economic Forum.Academically, I am a professor and mentor of ProLíder Institute and member of the Teachers' Network of the Center for Public Leadership. I was an invited professor for the Master in Leadership and Public Management, FGV, among others. I am a speaker on the topic of advocacy, politics, social participation and public policies. I have executive courses in Adaptive Leadership at Harvard, Leadership for XXI Century at Georgetown University and in Female Leadership at l'ENA, the french government school. Some projects I led and their results: - Scaled the Competitiveness Ranking for 21 Brazilian states, impacting the political strategy of 17 governors and mobilizing more than 300 secretaries of state - IOEB Advocacy Strategy (ioeb.org.br), Index of Brazilian Education Opportunities, a new index by the same author from Ideb, the most known brazilian education index which defines the educational goals of the country- Advocacy for Social Security Reform, which created the largest coalition in the world in favor of the theme, with more than 80 participating institutions (apoieareforma.com) -Advocacy for Political Reform, broad coalition with 13 institutions, which influenced changes such as the end of coalitions, the barrier clause and the approval of the mixed district vote in the Senate I believe in the connection between individual interest and orientation to the collective. And that each of us can do something about it for the common good. My goal is to give light and make a difference to issues that move my soul. And today I do it through advocacy.
