UX Design - Immersive course- at General Assembly Sydney. • Project 1: Foundational UX Research and Design skills, individual project mainly focusing on identifying pain points and solutions, user interviews, ideation and iterations on Figma.• Project 2: Focusing on UX Research skills, team project with various points of research, synthesis and identifying various trends and pain points from users, a mobile application was designed on Figma. (Affinity Mapping, Journey Map, Value Proposition Canvas, Business Model Canvas, MOSCOW Method, MVP).• Project 3: Focusing on UI skills in this team project, we identified opportunities and pain points with IKEA users from which a responsive website, focused on Desktop and Mobile resolutions, were designed on Axure & Figma.

Working occasionally I took this time to reflect on myself & my career goals.I am very compassionate & always want to help other people. I felt I needed to add a deeper purpose to my career. That is when I realised that I could combine all my expertise & experience in Interior Design with UX Design taking my career to the next level.

I was in charge of the planning, design development and site delivery of over 70 food retail stores as part of a national roll out, liaising with clients, RDM’s & builders.

As a Design Manager, I was overseeing all design aspects as well as coordinating with other disciplines and consultants.Project Delivery & Construction Phase, liaising with Clients, Project Managers, Builders and other Consultants.

I had the opportunity to design spaces for clients such us: Intercontinental, Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton, Marriott, etc, delivering projects nationally and overseas (Fiji, New Caledonia, Japan, New Zealand, etc).In charge of a range of tasks such as planning, concept design, project delivery / documentation, custom FF&E detailing, fabric & material selection, client and consultant liaison, site inspections and defects.
