Lead cross functional team to speedily complete the planned exits of GE Capital globally ($200B). Provide oversight to ~$10B in assets and businesses that still need to complete the sales process. Help fulfill ~35+ Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) and ultimately separate recently purchased assets from GE Capital. Particular focus in ensuring remaining / run-off assets are addressed while driving simplification. Developed a metrics driven operating rhythm to bring visibility and drive results. Some simplification examples include: reducing thousands of Legal Entities, Bank Accounts, contingent workers, purchase orders and IT applications and infrastructure. Also, developed simple processes and solutions to address priority inquiries that will likely continue to arise globally for years to come. Delivering on all the wind down activities and keeping remaining teams motivated while exiting significant number of employees and helping them land jobs inside and outside GE.

Since GE Capital’s disposition in April, 2015, continue to lead a team of ten direct reports and oversee a budget of $60 million, while supporting business development in executing and accounting of the dispositions. Earlier, managed accounting for this leading provider of senior secured financing to middle market companies in North America, with approximately $100 billion in assets of lending, leasing and equity. Business comprised a primary focus on direct lending, equipment leasing and inventory financing, including specific emphasis on healthcare and franchise financing. Held major responsibility for regulatory and SEC reporting; SOX; and technical and operational accounting. Continuously assess organizational needs to meet the needs of GE as well as the buyers, and demonstrate unambiguous and stable leadership through a period of great uncertainty.

Acting as a member of the investment committee, voted on approval or rejection of deals and capital allocations.

Ultimately, balanced the impact of GE’s decision to divest all global banking JVs by working closely with both banks to identify buyers, market the companies, and exit GE’s shares of the partnerships successfully, as we extricated from multi-year agreements with the entities.
