About Ana Maria De La Rosa

I am currently the Managing Director of Healthy and Equitable Communities at HRiA. Prior to joining the HRiA team, I have had an expansive and fulfilling career in community organizing, grant making, capacity building, and outreach. I have worked with organizations ranging from farmworker gender advocacy in Florida to international projects supporting indigenous sovereignty in the current climate crisis. I consider community work and heart work my calling. I have a masters in Public Health from Sarah Lawrence College, and a bachelors in Political Science and International & Global Studies. I was a Community Health Volunteer in the Peace Corps Peru from 2010-2012. Additionally, I am a volunteer birth doula and health educator, a first time mom to an energetic and hilarious little one, love to travel and one of my life goals is to visit all 7 wonders of the world!
