I am the managing director and owner of The English Academy. I bring extensive experience gained from teaching in multi-national settings across several countries as a master ESL teacher. I have an M.A. in TESL and Linguistics from the University of North Texas and a B.A. in English from Azad University. For more than twenty-five years, I have taught at universities, community colleges, private English schools, and corporations. I have taught individuals ranging from kindergarteners to senior executives of Fortune 500 companies in both private and group settings and worked with students of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and learning levels.I design and develop curricula and use effective instructional strategies while demonstrating high educational standards to keep my students challenged. I have a deep understanding and passion for cultural differences, and my top priority is making the curriculum understandable and relatable to my students to help them master accent reduction, writing, reading, and speaking skills, and build fluency. I believe in going the extra mile to help my students succeed and reach their full potential. I strive to inspire and motivate my students to be the best they can be and believe in developing self-confidence for students as part of their English learning journey.
