Scientific and functional leadership to the Medical Affairs team:o Build, manage, train, and develop a Medical and Scientific Affairs and Medical Information team: strategy and tactical plan. Develop and implement resources for MSL, field processes, metrics and strategic territory plans that optimize MSL activities in alignment with medical affairs objectives. Lead the design and execution of the medical plan and tactics to align with broader product management. Lead the medical strategy for Advisory Board meetings. o Accountable for the leadership, development, and execution of the Scientific Communication Plan with special focus on: data generation, clinical development (phase III, IV and RWE), and life cycle management of current and pipeline drugs. Oversee Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) programs. Lead publication strategy and planning, CME education, symposia, and congress planning. o Veeva-Medical CRM development and implementation.Management:o A member of Spanish Executive Steering Commercial Committee and Management Team, and the structure and needs assessments for building a Medical Affairs team. Serve as a key partner with Commercial in terms of market-building activities. Gather and communicate field insights to drive actionable recommendations to inform medical and commercial strategy.o Develop and execute the Medical and Scientific Affairs compliance policies, programs and SOPs, budget management.Stakeholder’s engagement: o Oversee appropriate scientific exchange with the external medical community, ensuring fair and balanced communication of medical and scientific information, as well as pull-through of key scientific messaging relevant to the disease and products. o Identify HCPs, KOLs, to drive scientific dialogue relevant to current and pipeline drugs.Develop and lead Medical Experts and Key Opinion Leader outreach by establishing and maintaining strong relationships as well as, academic institutions and medical societies.
