I am a data science enthusiast. My expertise has always been in helping my clients with research results that contain data driven insights by analyzing through data/reports available on market data sources. Along with my expertise of extracting meaningful insights from various data sources, I have recently added skillsets like Python, SQL, Tableau, R that make me a good data scientist. I have domain expertise in sectors like Healthcare, Natural resources, energy, oil & gas, diversified industries and TMT, however given the nature of the process I worked in I have conducted research in all segments and have basic understanding of all major segments.I started working in JPM with job responsibilities that are similar to what a data analyst from the field of data science would handle. The difference here is of the tools used; while I used paid market data sources like Bloomberg, ThomsonReuters, IHS, WoodMac, SNL and many more; a data analyst would typically use Python, SQL, Tableau, R.I have been rated as an excellent researcher multiple times, acknowledged for precise communication and given bigger roles and responsibilities that included training new recruits, managing end to end transition of fresh out of college recruits into researcher roles where they are capable of handling research jobs independently.
