Key Roles and Responsibilities - Managed the operations of a Delayed Coker plant, with a handling capacity of 2.77 million metric tonnes per annum, while ensuring critical process parameters are monitored and controlled, plant upsets are quickly addressed, and emergency situations are handled safely. - Spearheaded several projects, such as process optimisation and modification, cost reduction, new test trials, design modification, equipment performance, and furnace and WGC efficiency, and developed design calculations to ensure project success.- Served as a sectional coordinator during turn around activities, including planning, preparing job lists, taking meeting minutes, conducting column/vessel inspections, and performing interlocks and logic checks.- Gained hands-on experience with SAP-based work permit systems, implemented control logics related to plant operations, planned both planned and breakdown maintenance, and developed and reviewed standard operating procedures.
