 Built a new team of high performing Salesforce analysts and developers across continents to support the service business of the organization which generates revenue of >USD 1B. In addition to building the support team lead some major business tracks from IT standpoint in the biggest digital transformation program in FY’20, which aimed to redesign CRM system for field service, installations, training, and education business streams. Brought down post release conflicts among business tracks by applying standard procedures and introducing improved capacity planning and story prioritizations across tracks leading to a much more efficient sprint planning.

 Designed and lead the build of the first self-service market-place product for the Organization, where Varian’s customers could buy and sell apps/add-ons built for the software product offerings of the company. This opened a new revenue channel for the organization, which was later extended to handle the sales of small $$ value items. It is supporting a business channel which has an annual revenue of >USD 10MM. Awarded with CIO award for Q3 FY’17 for exceptional performance in the quarter and delivery of the first of its kind product from IT which generates revenue for the company. Designed and built an efficient and scalable planning and task management portal on Salesforce for customer planning operations business in the US. The application received delightful feedback from the users and within a year of go-live, business demanded the application to be scaled for global adoption, as it brought significant effort savings and an efficiency of ~68% over the existing process.

 Developed a centralized application for IT project managers on SharePoint, which covered aspects of resource planning, budget planning and task planning and tracking. This created a centralized repository and a reference point for all important documents related with projects. Application continues to be in active use for more than 6 years in the organization without complaints. Created Qlikview based reports for resource management and overall project overview for the executives, to provide visibility on every project running within the IT Organization.

• As an analyst, gathered requirements and developed applications for a banking client employing RAD (Rapid Application Development) model of SDLC.• As a senior developer, created user comments feature on articles, supporting hash-tags within comments in a multilingual intranet site for a leading UK based client in banking domain.
