Regional Head - Wholesale Banking Operations

Heading entire integrated operations for Western 1 & 2 comprising of Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat and Rajasthan.Integrated operations consists of Clearing operations, Retail Assets operations, Retail Liability operation, Depository, Enet Sales, Business Acquisition, Cash Management operations, electronic banking. Team size consists of 2500+ professionals from various professional and cultural backgrounds with immense expertise in operations, sales and product management. Also heading the Cash Management and religious institutions product and sales. Participated in a number of projects related to operations and HR initiatives regarding job sizing and job banding for the wholesale operations unit of the Bank. In my last 18+ years in the bank, I have been heading various projects apart from regular operational responsibilities. I have also been part of many group committees at senior level representing the wholesale banking unit.

Handling corporate sales functions viz. - Correspondent Banking for 600+ cooperative banks in Gujarat and Rajasthan- SME / Middle Market Clients for assets and liabilities- Cash Management Product Sales for all verticals- While i started as a one man team, in later years lead and developed a team of 15 sales professionals who virtually dominated the market share and gave the Bank a long term base of few based, non FB and transactional income continuing till today. - independently spearheaded software development for correspondent banking segment. - i developed strong relationship management with over 1000+ customers who are the primary reason for my growth and learning- extensively travelled geographies

Counter Management, Day Book, Subsidiary Ledger, Basic Trade Finance, Clearing, Despatch, Cash counter etcDuring these formative years I was a part of automating the branch from manual processing to full computerisation of the branch. It was an immensely learning experience which gave me confidence to spearhead similar projects in my future assignments with HDFC Bank.
