Drive Credit analysis of Financial Institution Groups Primarily Banks & NBFIs (High yield rated names), and Sovereign entities (Political risk insurance), along with definition of appropriate risk appetite to enable underwriting teams for effective risk taking and pricing.Key focus on the CAMELS analysis for Financial institution groups (financial analysis involving analysing Earnings, Asset quality, Capitalisation profile, Funding & Liquidity profile, Management Capability and Sensitivity to market risk factors) coupled with industry, economy, & peer group analysis and recommending credit decisions in accordance with the credit policy of Swiss Re.Oversight, risk monitoring and surveillance for effective steering of the portfolio.keep informed of global credit trends and events impacting the sector and assessing the potential effects on the portfolio.Macro economic analysis which includes Economy & Country Banking sector reviews to assess the robustness and vulnerabilities of the portfolio.Have the limit sanction authority of upto USD 150mn.

Perform annual rating reviews of counterparties. Reviewing limits/facility (which are offered by the bank to its counterparty) periodically and extending limits basis utilization. Managing excess tickets along with tracking news.Analysis of credit documentation which includes ISDA, VM CSA, GMRA, GMSLA & F&O agreements.Detailed analysis of derivative trades (which includes trade maturity, whether trade is in developed market currency or emerging market currency, if the trade type is primarily into FX/ SWAPS/OPTIONS/CDS etc) and exposure analysis (look at CCE & PFE numbers) of the counterparties.Sound understanding of various products including FX, Exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, SWAPs, CDS, REPO, Equity borrow Loan, Securities Lending, Daylight & Securities daylight overdraft, RCF etc.
