✔ In-charge of navigational bridge watch; led a bridge team of 3 crew members during the navigational watch; responsible for the safety of the ship, crew and cargo.✔ Worked with other navigational officers on the ship to plan efficient routes for the voyage.✔ In-charge of cargo loading and discharging operations in ports; coordinated between port authorities and the ship’s crew for smooth and efficient operations ensuring quick turnaround at the port.✔ In-charge of maintenance of Life-Saving & Fire-Fighting Equipment and training of crew members in the use of such equipment leading to "Zero” instances of accidents or near misses and no observable deficiencies in vetting inspections. ✔ Eagerly participated and voiced inputs with regard to daily work planning meetings, the making of associated permits, doing a formal and informal risk assessment with the team members; suggested amendments to the procedures in the company safety management system via the Master.
