I am Anand Kumar, a theatre facilitator, and practitioner-based out of Delhi, working in this field since 2014. I have done my Masters in performance Studies this year (2022) from Ambedkar University. I am associated with many creative arts based organisations that are working with/for children such as Storee ki Boree, Manzil and Kutumb Foundation, where I engage with children and young adults to create socially relevant work. I am also responsible for creating curriculum and plays, and conducting story-based workshops for children. I am particularly inclined towards folk/mythology and musical theatre and I have been creating engaging content for young learners based on the same. I feel drama is an effective way of making young learners engage. My experience of working with different organisations including Prithak and Adhyan among others have made me realise that I am someone who believes in exploration and experimentation.
