In this assignment, I developed and implemented Credit Risk Models, including PD, LGD, and EAD, ensuring thorough validation and calibration according to Basel guidelines. I designed a Lifetime PD model using the Cox Proportional Hazards Model under IFRS 9, performing stage analysis and creating PIT models with macroeconomic variables. Additionally, I validated and monitored scorecards for application and behavior, aligning with Basel II standards. I also executed economic and regulatory modeling and performed RWA calculations, enhancing my understanding of Basel and IFRS 9 frameworks.

In this role. I developed a Machine Learning model for Debt Obligation Payment (DOP) to identify customers who could pay premiums. Additionally, I created behavioral and application scorecard models, calculating Weight of Evidence (WoE) and Information Value (IV) while applying reject inference analysis. I also contributed to fraud detection by establishing claim fraud detection rules in an expert judgment model and presented suspicious claim data using Benford’s Law and Breakpoint Analysis to uncover potential fraud patterns.
