In my role at the TradeFx Squad, I serve as both an automation and manual tester. Our team utilizes a Mocha framework where all tests are crafted using the WebDriverIO tool in JavaScript. The project necessitates a comprehensive sanity and regression suite to conduct end-to-end testing across all functionalities. For critical end-to-end scenarios, such as inward remittance and Swift gpi, process automation is essential.Role & Responsibilities:· Participate in daily stand-up meetings and prepare status reports.· Analyze client requirements and design a test strategy to meet project goals.· Develop automation scripts for web and mobile applications using the WebdriverIO tool.· Review automation test failures from the previous week in the GoCD pipeline and provide root cause analysis (RCA) during Thursday and Friday meetings.· After grooming calls, begin writing test cases for functionalities currently in development for manual testing.· Once functionalities are deployed to the QA environment, I initiate manual testing and sign off if no defects or issues are identified.· Log and track defects: During test case execution, I monitor defects and document them in specific tools, such as JIRA.

The primary focus of this project was to develop Java test scripts for automating mobile and web applications. The goal was to ensure that the scripts are reliable, minimize issues, and require less maintenance over time. Each script was carefully examined to identify the top 20 that violated the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and address those issues first.Role and Responsibilities:· Automating mobile and web applications across multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and various browsers such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari, for regression testing.· Understanding client requirements and preparing automation test scripts based on business needs using Selenium and Appium.· Managing a team of five, creating shift rosters, and distributing tasks accordingly.· Ensuring that scripts are robust, with minimal issues at the script level and reduced maintenance in the future.· Working across various domains, including banking, finance, e-commerce, stock markets, OTT platforms, and insurance.· Integrating scripts with Sikuli and Auto-IT technology to automate specific scenarios.· Maintaining backups of automation scripts in the Tortoise SVN repository.· Promoting best practices in test automation within the team to ensure high-quality scripts.· To date, scripted and maintained over 500 test cases for Android, 400 for iOS, and 1000 for web applications.· Tracking defects using JIRA and Freshworks defect tracking tools.

We actively engaged with clients to understand their needs, automating manual test cases and addressing significant issues that could lead to script failures. This involved refactoring test scripts to improve flow and resolve script-related problems. We empowered the team to follow standardized practices for test automation, thereby enhancing the quality of the scripts and reducing maintenance efforts–especially for mobile applications. Currently, we are managing a comprehensive test suite that includes over 500 web test cases, more than 100 iOS test cases, and over 300 Android test cases.Role & Responsibilities:· Automating regression testing for mobile and web applications across various platforms: Android, iOS, and Web, utilizing multiple browsers including Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari.· Leveraging Selenium, Appium, and XCUITest automation tools to create automation test scripts that align with site flow and meet client requirements.· Ensuring that scripts are dependable, exhibit minimal issues at the script level, and require reduced maintenance over time.· Gaining experience in diverse industries such as e-commerce, banking, finance, OTT platforms, and insurance.· Integrating Sikuli and Auto-IT technologies with scripts to automate specific scenarios.· Guiding the team to adhere to industry best practices for test automation, ensuring high-quality scripts.· Utilizing JIRA and Kanban as defect tracking tools to monitor and manage defects effectively.

The primary objective of this project is to monitor all applications operating continuously, 24/7, with varying frequencies. The team is responsible for promptly notifying clients of any failures, enabling timely corrections and minimizing application downtime.Role & Responsibilities:· Ensure that all applications are functioning at the required frequency. If any application is not, manually restart it and inform the technical team to maintain service level agreements (SLAs).· Train new team members on procedures and provide support during their probation period.· Collaborate with a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Team Leader (TL) to understand client requirements and develop a site flow for automation.
