I have 28+ years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance. A BE, MBA (IIM Cal), Certified lean six sigma black belt, Agile Scrum master & SAFe Agilist - have been involved in driving process improvement projects.Currently the Head of Quality Assurance - Automotive at Shyamnagar factory of Exide Industries Ltd (Market leader in Lead Acid Battery manufacturing) since Sep-23.Was leading Assessment function focussing on large and critical Program reviews and Contract assessment at Cognizant.Was supporting Salesforce Delivery Excellence during 2019 -2021 at Cognizant. Salesforce has been a very fast growing practice and one of the most challenging teams to support due to complex tech stack.In the role of Delivery Excellence Enable Lead, I have been part of various projects for clients of repute of Retail, Travel & Hospitality, Banking and SAP practices. Core Team member in the current org wide CMMi L5 V1.3 assessment.Was instrumental in getting ISO9001 Certification for Buenos Aires Development Center in 2008.Have led Cognizant's Corporate DAG at Kolkata as a senior team member churning org level initiatives and enhancement of offerings. I was also part of Cognizant Metrics Council in 2005 - 06. Responsibilities included analysis and generation of reports from Corporate Metrics Council located at Kolkata.Roles and responsibilities in the previous organization (Exide Industries Limited - 1996-2005) included Process Quality Assurance & Improvement, Product Development and Test House operations. Specific responsibilities as In charge-Document Controller included Implementation, Sustenance and Improvement of Quality System (ISO9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO14001). As QMS Lead Auditor and trained EMS Auditor, member of central audit team for auditing Quality & Environmental Management system at unit level and across other units of the company. Also done Lead Auditor in ISMS (ISO27001)
