Instrumentation Control Engineer
• Responsible for the maintenance of DCS, ESD and plant instrumentation at the Hydrocracker, Sulphur Recovery, Tail gas Treatment, Sour Water Treatment, Hydrogen Sulphide Recovery, Atmospheric Residue Desulphurization, Pressure Swing Adsorption and Hydrogen Production & Recovery units.• Leading a team of contractor personnel consisting of 4 engineers, 15 supervisors, 40 technicians and 14 mechanics to carryout the routine maintenance activity.• Responsible as an Instrument cell member for the major turnaround activity of units by preparing the scope of work, arranging the resources and materials and ensuring timely completion of activities as per the scope.• Participated in the study workshops for P&ID Review, PHA, Hazop and SIL study of existing, new and revamp process units, FAT and SAT for Systems and packages, audits for the compliance of ISO certification in Quality Management system (ISO:9001), Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS:18001) and Environmental Management System (EMS:14001), reliability centered study workshops such as RCM, RBI, MTA, SIF/ SIL & RCA..• Working as a cell member in the cross functional team for the implementation of the Clean Fuel Project by participating in the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities • Supervised and commissioned as per schedule the upgradation of DCS and ESD system and local control panels of pumps and compressors in a timely manner for units during their individual turnaround including Hot Loop cutover to avoid downtime in running units..• Responsible for the preparation of the division budget and preparation of contract documents for small to large value contracts for executing modification works.• Responsible for the scheduling of all division engineers for various trainings.
