As an experienced Instrumentation/Project Engineer, I have accumulated over 24 years of practical experience in Engineering Support, Project Design and Construction, Quality Management, Document Control, Procurement, Contracts Management, and Instrumentation Maintenance within the Oil and Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical industries.I have a successful track record of delivering both in-house & Capex projects and turnaround maintenance activities while working in shifts managing a multicultural & international team. My skill set includes leadership, risk assessment, problem-solving, team oversight, safety and quality assurance, training and mentoring.I have a comprehensive understanding of instrumentation and control design, including P&ID, instrumentation and control specifications, C&E, logic, schematics, loop diagrams, and control narratives. I have coordinated instrumentation engineering and design with other disciplines, consultants, vendors, clients, suppliers, and third-party contractors. I have also provided procurement support, including requests for quotations, technical bid evaluation, purchase requisition, and review of supplier drawings. My responsibilities also involved preparing project proposals, reviewing technical proposals and clarifications, and estimating engineering man-hours & material quantities.In addition, I am familiar with the designing and maintenance of various control systems such as DCS, SIS, PLC, ESD, BMS, GDS, F&G, and plant field instruments and analyzers. I worked with various international engineering standards, including Shell DEP, IEC, ISA, NFPA, BS, CSA among others, and understand the Management of Change procedure and modification change request cycle.I have been involved in audits for ISO certification compliance. Furthermore, I have attended reliability-centered workshops and have been trained as an RCA Facilitator.I have participated in workshops for P&ID Review, PHA, Hazop, and SIL study of existing and new process units and attended FAT and SAT for systems and process packages.
