ROLES - SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER• Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities of supplier• Responsible for new material sample approval.• Analyse the TDS , MSDS , REACH , COA and ROHS of the new part• Participate in CFT in the development of new products• Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and timely corrective actions are implemented• Direct vendor interactions to coordinate and calibrate inspection techniques which will include gages and tools.• Conduct supplier audits based on periodic supplier rating to drive process standardization and continuous improvement• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues • Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to avoid non‐conformances ROLES – INCOMING INSPECTION QUALITY ENGINEER• Support incoming inspection by developing new/improved inspection methods and provide appropriate training to staff.• Perform inspection of incoming products and materials such as- measure and record the dimension of components/parts using measuring instruments - Perform non-destructive test or hardness test (if necessary) and analyse findings and raise report- Take photographs of the components/parts for recording purposes.• Defining sampling size for incoming components• Identify ways to increase inspection productivity by designing and fabricating inspection fixtures, techniques and methods.• Work with engineers to identify and have inspected Critical Function dimensions for each production part.• Review proper use of engineering, process and material specifications, and identification of key characteristics for inspection plans and methods• Define inspection run rules to ensure end-to-end (incoming, in-process and final) product quality• Generate reports on issues identified during quality inspection activities and provides recommendations to effect improvements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY – IN-PROCESS INSPECTION QUALITY ENGINEER• Responsible for overall product quality at production in-process stage.• Providing On-The-Job training to the Inspectors and Trainees• Study and verification of 5 vital documents (Drawing, Control plan, PFMEA, Process Flow Chart and Work instruction) • Preparation of In-process inspection report Based on the 5 vital documents• Monitoring process parameters on hourly basis and recorded in In-process inspection report• Preparation of Q-alert for required stage• Lead the team through a PFMEA and then coordinate eliminate high-risk areas • Introduce problem solving methodology to identify root cause and put a fix in place to improve the production process and prevent future quality issues• Verification of Traceability requirements throughout the Process• Implementation of Operator Quality Assurance-Defect detection• Monitoring and control of in-process rejections and rework • Taking care of Setup approval / First part approval• Taking Corrective action for the Non-conformance and monitoring the effectiveness of the action taken• Preparation statistical process control (control chart) • IMTE/Tool validation report monitoring on daily basis• Implementation of Poke-Yoke –Prevention/DetectionROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY – FINAL QUALITY ENGINEER (Pre Dispatch)• Preparation of inspection sample report on daily basis(Visual, Electrical and mechanical inspection)• Handling of Customer complaint received from client through 8D analysis report and finalize with CFT team before sending to client• Responsibility of MSA study(Kappa study ,R&R study)• Responsibility of fumigation report verification for wooden pallets • Responsibility of credit for the finished products in SAP• Preparation of PPAP documents(Drawing, control plan, FMEA, process flow chart, work instruction , Test report , Material data sheet)
