1. Building and Piping Maintenance• Regular maintenance of pipeline related servicing and maintenance• Water supply management from different sources to handle the demand and coordinate accordingly.• Organize service maintenance of borewell submersible pumps, mono block pump sets and open well submersible pump sets by discussing with the vendors.• Develop civil estimates by following latest regional data and government schedule for rates for the building maintenance works.• Played a vital role in successfully maintaining various levels of discussions at vendor level to achieve successful running of various water management equipments. 2. Government Tender related responsibilities.• Successfully executed different stages of tender related activities for various tasks at the University• Specifically responsible for the purchase of borewell submersible pump sets, mono block pump sets and sewage pump sets by releasing the Government Tenders.• Work on the technical specifications, generate vendors and conclude technical discussion to arrive at the optimum solution.• Key responsible point of contact for organizing government tenders for the auction of scrap materials Aluminum, Copper, cast iron, Galvanized iron that has been worn out due to ageing factors • Successfully inspected the condition of the vehicle used by the university and organized the condemnation of the old vehicles like buses, cars, jeeps by organizing the auction via release of tenders.3. Other key responsibilities as a contractual Engineer.• Handling the fuel bills settlement month on month basis for the vehicles used by the University.• Handle labors based on the need of work and utilize them for the maintenance work throughout the university.• Handling the shift duty management responsibilities for the labors who are responsible for water supply management. • Water bill management for the residents based on the consumption for the residents.
