is a subsidiary of the billion dollar U.S based Mcdermott Group of Companies. I was assigned to the valves team of "the Pickering A return to service project" at Ontario Power Generation (Pickering Nuclear Generating Station) in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. This project was one of the worlds largest of its kind where four nuclear reactors of 500MW each were put back to service. I worked in the Technical Resources Department on site developing SOP's(Standard operating procedures) for the power station. I have authored & documented over 1000 SOP's viz; MITP's (Manufacturing and Inspection Test Plans) and SIS (Shop Instruction sheets) used by crew in carrying out stagewise repair and service of Air operating and Motor operating valves, Actuators and associated accessories for the nuclear power station.
