- During this thesis, a simulation method was developed to assemble the seat cover on the seat foam through FEM simulation.
- Prepared the 3D model of Seat for meshing using preprocessor ANSA.
- Simulated the assembly of seat cover to seat foam & frame using ABAQUS.
- Simulated the seating of dummy passenger on the Seat to determine the resultant force on the Seat Belt Reminder (SBR) Sensor.
- Prepared a comparative study of resultant forces before and after seat cover assembly using post processor ANIMATOR.
