I am working to integrate the chatbot with APIs and wearable devices like the Samsung Galaxy Watch to provide a seamless user experience. I am also tasked with conducting research on machine learning algorithms that perform feature analysis on speech to identify cognitive decline in elderly users.

Worked with 4 others to design Spark, a Social Media Startup meant to facilitate event sharing and offline interactions. Created user-validation surveys, potential user scenarios, and conducted competitive market analysis. Developed APIs to implement features including authentication, storing data, and enabling user communication. Architected the database, including a RDS for user metadata, and NoSQL for detailed information on Users, Communities, Posts, and Events. In our next tech sprint, I will be collaborating with Charlie Yin to develop a recommendation engine to select the most relevant posts and events to display to each user.

As a quantitative trading intern, I learnt to analyze data and use trading strategies to exploit market volatility and option mispricing. I worked on algorithms like the mean-reverting strategy to maximize gains and minimize risk exposure. I tested these on historical data and identified potential improvements for the strategy. I wrote a python script to calculate the implied volatility of options for a particular index in the National Stock Exchange and used the Black-Scholes-Merton model to predict fair trading prices for them.

I worked on a building a web portal for Max-Life Insurances to connect with customers and sell term insurances online. I helped code the Java-based micro-services which provided functionality such as user login and verification on the web portal. I also wrote SQL queries to store and retrieve customer data from the backend.
