Work required devising the architecture, design and technologies, then the end-to-end rewriting of code, unit tests, and majority of the database’s stored procedures, its containerization and setting up of automated deployment pipeline using an on-prem substitute of Kubernetes. ● Automated the process of Asset onboarding by developing a new microservice to facilitate the creation of private assets in a downstream system based on incoming data via excel files and making the workflow simple and seamless, earlier this was a manual process, thus helped improve Straight Through Processing for private assets by 30%.● Along-with a lead software developer, created a distributed system based microservice to integrate OAuth2 and OpenID to manage entitlements for a newly built enterprise grade trade-exceptions management portal, the portal catered to 4 internal applications, thus required integration of their specific role-based authorizations.

Tech Stack – Spring Boot, Java, SQL Server DB● Revamped the entire backend of a legacy distributed system based Portfolio configuration application, designed and developed over 135 APIs that enabled a single-page delivery of all the features, thus improving user experience, as earlier users had to go to various downstream/upstream applications for validations/retrieval of the information, all of this was done in collaboration with experienced UX designers. As a result, the Average deal setup time spent by the consumers, clients, and business stakeholders reduced by 67%. ● Innovated a deployment automation tool using python and ChatGPT, thus streamlining the deployment process of 12 microservices, each to 6 non-production regions, earlier this manual task required modifying assembly files and giving multiple manual commands, time spent went from 2 hours to under 10 minutes, thus achieving 95% improvement.
