Working as a Team Lead on the Inmate Web Service & Inmate Lookup Project. Product won award at the State Level Govt. Agencies ETL data loading into the DB2 database from the daily feed for inmate information and every 15 minutes feed for the Notifications information. Mapping the Hibernate Objects with Database (initially Postgressql later DB2) using middlegen tool and generating model/DAO classes in Spring Framework. Implementing the business functionality to access the Hibernate objects and tuning the HQLs. Writing Ant – Maven Build Scripts to deploy on Websphere 6.0 Extensively used Xstream (similar to JAXB) to convert xml into Java Objects and vice versa. Deploying the Application on local Tomcat and WAS Application Server 6.0 on Dev and Staging.
