About the Client : The Farm- a 70 acre Resort, nestled in the constantly developing IT strip of Chennai owned and managed by Arul Futnani.Litigations handled : Cases relating to land disputes, Law of Partnership and Environmental LawsResponsibilities: Filed Writ petition against the Metro Water and Sewerage Department for attempting to illegally grab the property of The Farm. The case is now pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.Sued M/s. Hotel Asiana,Old Mahabalipuram Road, for willful violation of Environmental Laws and for causing Public Nuisance.Issued Contempt Notice to The Collector, Kancheepuram District for deliberate violation of the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, Madras wherein the Hon’ble Court was pleased to protect the fundamental rights of The Farm

Kota is a Social service organization established by Padma Shri (late) Archbishop M.A.Thomas in 1960. This Society has established over 143 schools all over the Country, 1 hospital in Rajasthan and 103 orphanages apart from 11,138 Churches and 138 Bible Institutes . Litigations handled : Writs, Societies Registration Act, Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989, Juvenile Justice Act 2000. Responsibilities: Filed Writ Appeals against the order of the Single Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench wherein the registrations of the 5 societies namely; were cancelled by the Registrar of Societies, Rajasthan on the recommendations of the State Social Welfare Department based on unsubstantiated grounds and concocted allegations. The Appeal was upheld by the Division Bench of the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench thereby restoring the registrations of said societies.Have obtained anticipatory bail for Archbishop in a case registered under the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act 1950. The case under the Emblems and Names Act is for the alleged depiction of the map of India without showing Kashmir as part of the country on a website. The State Government's crackdown on the Emmanuel Mission Society institutions and their promoters had followed the dispute over the sale of a controversial book Haqeeqat.
