During this period worked on SKU price anomaly detection, SKU traceability, supply chain simulation, sustainability products for buildings and semantic search. Enabled 22% manual effort reduction in SKU mapping. Predicted correct energy demand and reduced energy bills for key Honeywell site resulting in 95 lakhs INR savings. Built a prototype for supply chain simulation using discrete event simulation to address Covid-19 related supply chain disruptions. Improved the precision of in-house search engine for aerospace internal corpus using BERT. Implemented anomaly detection methods to generate alerts for sales anomalies. Implemented revenue forecasting for products. Currently working physics aware machine learning to identify loss and unaccounted gas in large gas distribution networks. This resulted in 52% of reduction in time to onboard supplier in Honeywell Aerospace. Built SSOT (single source of truth) for platform information of aerospace SKUs. This enabled 20M USD additional sales during inventory clearance exercise. Built patent pending algorithm to enable predictive maintenance of Aerospace auxiliary power units (APU). Built predictive maintenance application for aircraft environmental control system (ECS). Built text classification based automation for classifying aircraft line-replaceable units (LRU) repairs resulting in potential 18 FTE reduction. I joined Honeywell as a Mechanical Engineer Trainee and got trained on mechanical engineering curriculum and software development principles and platforms. I got DFSS trained during this period. I was involved in a mini-project for development of an integrated Gear design solution. I was involved in integration of this tool with ProE for auto modelling. I used JLink, a java based API for automated parametric modelling of gear and this was my first programming venture. I wrote an white paper on this and it was shortlisted as one of the top 5 idea in internal innovation forum.
