I founded a handmade jewelry boutique specialized mainly in necklaces and bracelets. I released items by season and customized the appearance based on trends during each season. I had 40+ sales within my first month and sold primarily through Instagram. I posted regularly about production, future products, and opinion polls to engage my customers and build my following. I also offered personalized items (spelling out names, dates, quotes, etc) and free jewelry repair services (for products outside AMM Boutique as well).

I worked for a local nonprofit that provided tutoring services to elementary and middle school students amid COVID-19. I taught various subjects to including English, Math, and Spanish and worked between 2-6 hours peer week (more during summers). I had between 2-5 students at a time. I planned lessons for one hour minimum per week. I mentored several students on the autistic spectrum and communicated frequently with parents on student progress.

Trained and worked as a small business retail employee, but also completed tasks beyond cashier. I handled production and packaging of goods, including making meals, giving samples, etc. I tracked and prepared phone and online orders. I maintained upkeep of the store through cleaning floors, windows, counters, dishes, and bathrooms. I ensured each customer felt welcome and facilitated a positive work environment.

I worked as a marketing and communications intern for an event planning company. I uploaded several events’ content to company social media and internal files (Pinterest, Instagram, Drive). I communicated with clients, vendors, and designers to complete a detailed master list of around 300 resources and connections. I wrote detailed blog post offering advice on event planning after researching industry trends. I was offered a long term part-time job at the end of the internship and finished my role as the youngest intern in the history of the company.
