A proud double Panther, Ana received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia State University, with a minor in International Business, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. Her studies have focused on international relations, foreign affairs, and diplomacy.Through her education at Georgia State, Ana found her passion in international relations. Her roles at the Mayor’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, as well as the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, have allowed her to represent Atlanta as a growing, vibrant city that attracts international business and governments from around the world. Her background in politics, policy, and business grant her the opportunity to approach her endeavors with multiple perspectives.
Beyond professional experiences, Ana is an avid traveler and has participated in study abroad opportunities across the United Kingdom, Morocco, United Arab Emirates, Peru, and Argentina. 
Ana currently works at the Mayor’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs (MOIIA) at the City of Atlanta. In this role, Ana oversees an integrated communications and social media strategy for the Office, with the goal of elevating Atlanta’s global presence. In addition, she supports exchanges and provides support for incoming delegations, missions abroad, and community events. Ana is an active member of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta Young Leaders Executive Board, where she serves as the chair of the Speaker Committee. She helps conceptualize and organize speaker programs by researching potential topics and speakers, proposing programs, establishing program goals, and coordinating logistics. In her free time, Ana enjoys reading, traveling, attempting Instagram recipes, and hiking with her rowdy bichapoo, Milo.
