Born and raised in Portugal, I felt early in life the urge to know the world. Learning languages was my first window on the world’s different cultures. And then the inevitable happened. I've sailed the “Seven Seas” starting in Brussels, where I have studied in a stimulant multicultural environment. Next stop: Asia, South China, where I spent several years enriching my life experience. Back in Europe I had the chance to develop my writing skills for journalism in a multilingual news television channel based in France before returning to Lisbon/Portugal, where I joined the team of Diário Económico, Portugal’s leading business newspaper. In the meantime, I've embraced other challenges: travel writing for an Angolan tourism magazine and content management of Museum Bordalo Pinheiro’s Facebook page, which by the way was awarded a prize by the Portuguese Association of Museology. September'16 is a new beginning for me as Opinion Coordinator at Jornal Económico: a new weekly newspaper and online information project in the economic, business and financial areas. Great news for Portuguese readers and a great call out for our team. Exciting times came up wfor me while interviewing writers, philosophers, movie directors and plastic artists! As a learning addict I also love to plunge into other subjects, namely Tourism & Hospitality, e-governance and sustainability. But if all this looks too serious, guess what...? I'm also a travel fan; love to discover Portugal, to find great spots to go kayaking around the country; to learn about history and politics; discuss ideas, meet people and embrace new challenges!
