UX - UI designer and developer for the Marriott Vacation Club – Search and Book project. The Points Reservations Systems is a web based booking engine for the points based MVC inventory. PRS was built using the following technologies. HTML 4, CSS2-3, An MVC, OOP JavaScript toolkit called Dojo, and Json. Its architecture consists of views, templates, which displays views instead of page loads. Last, the Cuba framework does error handling, and caching for the entire application.Who uses PRS? The Points Reservation System is used by new and existing customers enrolled in the points program. Next, the PRS system has a hidden layer that exposes extra functionality. This is a control panel like functionality exposed by a special login, which allows Super Users to provide customers support to MVC owners.My role in this project: Design mockups in Photoshop. A review process was in place until the approval of the mockups. During the build out of the application I served as styling lead. I controlled all HTML, and CSS structure of the application. I created complete views, and then broke those into reusable widgets, and placed these in the template file structure. Currently I perform continuous enhancements on the application.The build out: The development phase was structure in an agile format with sprints, and scrum meetings. We completed 36 different deliverables to our SVNT team for regression testing.
