My professional journey began in 2012 when I embarked on a career as a textile designer. However, my true creative evolution took shape seven years later when I joined forces with André Teoman to become part of the Andre Teoman Studio. Within this collaborative venture, I have been actively engaged in international trade shows and events, which have served as a platform for our distinctive approach to design.Our design philosophy revolves around the harmonious integration of diverse materials and production processes, creating a captivating contrast between traditional craftsmanship, deeply rooted in the legacy of previous generations, and the relentless march of technology within the industry. These materials encompass the realms of woodworking, metalworking, and textiles. However, our core objective has always been the creation of pieces that are both unique and thought-provoking.In our creative journey, I consistently bridge the gap between the past and the future, merging tradition with cutting-edge creativity in our pursuit of truly remarkable design.In 2023, I have embarked on a new venture alongside two friends, establishing the Gir Gir collective. The primary mission of this collective is to transform industrial waste into decorative and sustainable objects. Collaborating with local industries, we have given a renewed purpose to materials that would otherwise find their way into landfills.
