Study on the circular economy ecosystem in the region of Galicia as part of the project "Circular Labs, promoting entrepreneurship for the circular economy in the Iberian space" funded by the cross-border cooperation program Interreg POCTEP.Main project features:The objective of these assignment is the analysis of the ecosystem of the circular economy in the cooperation territory (Castilla y León, Galicia and North of Portugal), in order to identify the existing agents and capacities to promote the circular economy and the resources and sectors of specialization that can boost the Northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, within a framework of territorial cooperation.The study of the ecosystem of the circular economy of Galicia is part of this project developed with the aim of providing valuable information for:- Guide administrative institutions in local or regional strategies to promote the circular economy- Identify emerging sectors that may constitute new sources of entrepreneurship and economic activity.- Track the improvement of competitiveness

Research project on circularity indicators at the company level, to measure and monitor all aspects of a circular economy including both technical and biological cycles.Subproject "Optimization of the circularity indicator by including corrective factors that do not penalize the agri-food sector of the province of Ourense" (used in the preparation of the last Ardán Report).Based on the existing circular economy indicators, the objective of the research carried out is to improve the circularity indicators used in the analysis of the organizations prepared for the Vigo Free Zone Consortium applied at the company level, based on the existing circular economy indicators. The proposed indicators are intended to identify the level of performance of companies with respect to a circular economy through an egalitarian analysis that does not penalize by type of industry and sector of activity.The battery of indicators developed covers a priori all variables related to the development of products and services by companies, including the input of raw materials, water or energy, as well as aspects such as the integration of the circular economy in the company's strategy, ecodesign, the relationship with the different interest groups involved in the different phases of the product life cycle or the reuse of by-products, among others.The circularity indicator developed has been used in the last competitive reports used in the region.
