Provides technical solutions and technology developer to increase sale of gases (H2, N2, O2, Ar, He and CO2) and equipment’s to clients in refineries, chemical plants, pharmaceutical/biotech facilities, power plants, and water treatment facilities, resolving customer technical challenges, helping customers improve their operations, efficiency, and safety, making presentations and proposals, working with Air Products liquid-bulk and on-site sales teams, to sell liquefied industrial gases (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, argon, etc.) with the objective of learning, presenting technical papers, promoting technology, supporting marketing efforts, networking.

Provides critical Engineering experience and estimating expertise to the FEL group on behalf of Midstream projects. The FEL SME provides valuable insight to FEL Engineers with respect to what types of information, and at what level of detail, is appropriate for budgetary estimates, FEL 1 estimates & AFD requests as well as how to evaluate internal and external resources needed to accomplish the work based on the project size and complexity.

Process Lead responsible of all process documentation, drawings and engineering calculations developed during Detailed Engineering by the EPC contractor KBR SK JV to ensure that design complies with the basic of design, best practices, specifications and government requirements to build an LNG Plant with capacity of 8 MTPO of LNG in Louisiana. Participate in P&ID’s reviews, PHA Studies, Siting Studies, HAZOP, 3D Model Reviews and vendor’s inspections.

Provide leadership and management support to the CPAI Project Lead/Manager on projects and sub-projects representing the Capital Projects Organization (CPO) of ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. Will collaborate with representatives of other departments and disciplines to execute projects from conception to closure. Be the main technical interface between the Engineering Contractors, CPAI Technical Advisors and CPAI Project Leads. Accountabilities include: safety performance, planning and executing projects working with contractors, cost and schedule control of the installed project within the Greater Kuparuk Area, the Cook Inlet, and the Western North Slope.

• Provides process engineering technical support and oversight to E&P Major Capital Projects and Licensing of ConocoPhillips LNG process at the Bechtel EPC offices (typically > $75 mm net), from concept selection to start-up and first years of operation • Provide technical support with Bechtel engineering staff group to perform a variety of studies, FEED, EPC, and technology development initiatives, rated and dynamic simulation runs, process design basis development, PFD and P&ID review, process and utility description development, process equipment datasheet and hazard analysis (SIR, HAZID and HAZOP) participation. Efforts include review of piping design models, hydraulic calculations, technical review of vendor proposals, and vendor acceptance testing. Field support for operating plants includes start-up services, plant acceptance test participation, simulation runs, plant performance optimization and troubleshooting.• Be a member of several multi-discipline teams that evaluate economics, schedule, quality, and safety risk throughout concept selection, project design, and future asset operations. • Work effectively with project managers, project engineers, other engineering disciplines, business units, joint ventures, and national oil company teams worldwide to advance ConocoPhillips’s project and asset performance. • Received special recognition “Spirit Awards 2010” which honor the people who best exemplify ConocoPhillips’ highest standards of performance in conducting business and contributing accomplishments, innovation and teamwork effort for the Optimized Nitrogen Rejection Unit in the Darwin LNG Plant.

Recommend modifications to systems to reduce operating expenses or operating pressures in order to control cost and economically maximize production. • Make periodic presentations to business partners for the support and funding of capital projects. • Provide AFE quality cost estimates and perform post audits of projects. • Provide input to Finance for modeling economic cases. Track and reconcile actual costs with forecasts.

INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER PHASE I COROCORO PROJECT• Reviewed and agreed on the Basic and Detailed Engineering for the IPF by 4Q-2006.• Kept track of the schedule and used pre-established reporting formats to ensure effective communication with the Hanover Contractor. • Provided specific engineering support in all facilities/process/infrastructure engineering functions in value definition between design options to ensure that the process barge facilities are designed and built in accordance with the BU objectives of cost, schedule, and operability. • Identified and resolved critical issues and keep the IPF Project Risk Register updated. FACILITIES ENGINEER, DEVELOPING ASSETS TEAM • Identified, planned, and executed engineering studies required for business planning of the Corocoro Gas and Corocoro Phase II Oil assets, understanding how they would utilize or be integrated with Corocoro Phase I Oil facilities. This position is part of a small multidiscipline team responsible for bringing new projects from the post-exploration stage to the beginning of project execution stage.

Generated conceptual/basic/detail engineering documents of Projects for the National Oil Industry PDVSA, such as: waterproof systems, design of air exchangers for seal refrigeration pumps, steam recovery plant (VCR) for flow station, depressurization and relief gas system in compression plants

• Supervised the operation of Water Injection Plants Systems for the recovery of 9.100 barrels per day, obtaining savings of $200 thousand per year. • Optimized the oil, gas and water network using hydraulic simulators such as Pipephase and Pipesim 2000.Evaluated core process equipment (i.e. pipelines, control valves, pumps, absorption towers) for proper operation of the water and gas injection systems. • Developed maintenance corrosion plans for offshore pipelines using cathodic protection techniques, anodes and corrosion inhibitors. • Elaborated procedures for replacement of crude and gas transport pipelines.
