Dr. Ana Rush is an experienced visionary leader with fifteen years of combined experience in public education, higher education, educational research, and data analytics. She has served in organizational leadership roles for more than a decade in Texas.Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Ana Rush started her career as a teacher then moved to administrative roles. Dr. Rush has held district-level leadership positions in curriculum, instruction, and accountability for nine years in North and Central Texas school districts. She earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University, where she also worked as researcher and co-instructor of a graduate class. Dr. Ana Rush has been a strong advocate for quality education for all students and has a proven track record in delivering quality curriculum and instruction, establishing data-centric teams, and increasing academic achievement. Her accomplishments have earned her the Women of Distinction Award and The Top 50 Women Leaders of Austin for 2022.
