CurrentOperational smart grid Team : Performing enterprise’s Microwave, fiber Optics and various telecommunications technologies , solution evaluation , system planning, design and engineering for the smart grid projects at AVANGRID utilities group in state of Connecticut• Implement new network connectivity and handoffs for OSG private connection.• Lead department’s project in radio RF engineering (cellular, Radio, Wireless point-to-point, point-to-multipoint technologies) for several applications.• Delivers high-performance, high-availability communications in a 24/7 enterprise to achieve service expectations, scalable to business needs, and that have appropriate redundancies for diverse communications.• Experience with Ciena Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), Optical Transport Network (OTN) mesh, and Synchronous Optical Network (SONET)..• Familiarity of electric utility infrastructure within substations and distribution networks.• Knowledge of the OSI reference model, network routing and switching (Cisco, RUGGEDCOM), network management applications (e.g., GE Orbit Radio).• Core competencies include interpersonal, communications (written & verbal), presentation, and drafting/drawing (Visio/CAD) skills.• Deliver successful project execution including schedule and budget for assigned initiatives
