I’m EL ATTAR Anas. I hold a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry from Hassan II University of Casablanca (Morocco) on the subject: "Deposition of thin copper films on nanocomposites based on Polypyrrole and carbon nanomaterials: Application to fuel cells" defended on September 20, 2022, at Hassan II University of Casablanca.During my thesis, I had the opportunity to carry out my research work in the Laboratory of Membrane Materials and Environment (L2ME-Morocco) under the supervision of Professor Mama El Rhazi. This experience allowed me to develop skills in the electrochemical synthesis of different materials, energy conversion, physical chemistry of materials, and surface functionalization. I had the opportunity to spend a research internship in the Laboratory of Electrochemical Surfaces and Interfaces (LISE) of Sorbonne University, from November 15 to December 14, 2019, and from November 3 to December 11, 2022, and another research internship in the Sen research group (SRG) of Dumlupinar university, from July 3, 2022, to August 11, 2022. I have also acquired a solid experience in the field of electrode modification and synthesis of nanocomposites based on conductive polymers, carbon nanomaterials, and metallic nanoparticles, their structural and electrochemical characterizations as well as application in the field of clean energy production (Energy production from ethanol oxidation). Several national and international oral and poster communications, three publications as first authors, others submitted and others in progress were the fruits of this work. In addition to the application of these nanocomposites as materials in the field of fuel cells, I am currently working on the electrolysis of water, reduction of oxygen, and the detection of emerging pollutants. Finally, I would like to mention that I also contributed to the supervision of research and practical works of bachelor students, undergraduate, and Ph. D students. I was involved in the organization of four scientific events (the last one is the ABCChem conference (abcchem.org)).
