My responsibilities as the head of Prevention include design and implementation management for evidence-based prevention programs.I perform overall program oversight, management and coordination. I oversee resource mobilisation and management, goal setting, monitoring and evaluation, ensuring programs and their objectives are achieved.

Policy advice, development and review, Development and review of strategic documents, writing, review and compilation of reports, memos, and other corporate documents.Follow-up on tasks at management level, any other task as assigned by the commissioner.

Giving Advice to the Ministry on Policy direction, programmes and projects related to the ministry.Design and implementation of activities related to the mandate of the Ministry.Attending management meetings, taking minutes and participating in all matters of management concern.Perfoming tasks as assigned by the Honourable commissioner of Health.

As part of the core components of the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship, I am posted to the Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board. My work here involves learning the internal and external workings of the board through experience and involvement by working under the top leadership offices.I am tasked with identifying systematic problems and shortcomings that decrease the efficiency of proceedings and performance, as well as developing, proposing and participating in the implementation of the solutions.Attend all high level management meetings of the the Board.Design and/or implement Activities related to the Board's mandate as assigned.Perform such tasks as may be assigned by the Chairman of the board.

My roles in this institution include Teaching Chemistry, Biochemistry and English and communication skills.I was also responsible for keeping tab of student attendance, Setting and marking Continuous assessments as well as compilation of examination results.Additional duties included Laboratory coordination, keeping tabs of the laboratory usage and the equipments inventory.I was also an interim head of department for 6 months where I oversaw all activities and runnings of the department of Medical laboratory technician.
