Tracking, analyzing and reporting on longitudinal academic and social outcomes of Momentous Community School graduates from 6th grade through high school graduation.

•Responsibilities included designing and implementing both formative and summative evaluations of program components across both school and therapeutic services; Conducting early childhood assessments; Managing of several United Way grants; Tracking, analyzing and reporting on annual data as well as longitudinal data for grants and stakeholders; Working with families on surveys and homevisiting projects.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Provide coaching, professional development and technical assistance to parents, teachers, homevisitors and administrators in community based early childhood programs. Areas of focus include: best practices for early childhood classrooms (infancy to preschool age); developmental assessments and screenings; and program evaluation/logic models.

•Responsibilities included coordinating the Texas School Ready program across 25 early childhood agencies and 70 preschool teachers; Coaching early childhood teachers on effective teaching strategies and ideal classroom environments; Administering developmental screenings and assessments of children (1 month through 60 months) through various assessment tools (Denver II, ELAP, LAP3, School Readiness Survey); Meeting with teachers and parents to discuss developmental screening and assessment results; Hiring, training and coaching of early childhood teachers; Providing classroom teaching support as needed; Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with intervention programs; Planning and implementation of formative and summative evaluations of program components; Researching, designing and implementing measures for both adult and child participants; Training staff in the areas of child development and administration of measures; Tracking, analyzing and reporting on annual data as well as longitudinal data for various grants and stakeholders; Planning and leading monthly trainings with homevisitors and early childhood teachers.

•Responsibilities included assisting the Executive Director in launching the AVANCE-Dallas program in West Dallas. Establishing and maintaining relationships with community schools, leaders and families. Organizing and managing programmatic activities; hiring, supervising, training and evaluating staff; recruiting program participants; teaching parenting and toy-making sessions; conducting early childhood assessments; implementing and maintaining the Even Start Family Literacy program on school campuses. Assisting in the application process of grants and state programs.
