• Led Corporate Bank Debt transactions exceeding US$900mm on competitive and sponsor friendly terms. These include equity financing and non-funded facilities for projects under development as well as operational assets spanning across multiple geographic jurisdictions involving leading regional as well as international financial institutions and law firms.• Successfully led entity level annual risk rating exercises conducted by renowned external credit rating agencies for three consecutive years.• Led the Corporate Finance budget exercise for 2019 and 2020.

· Managed (funded & non-funded) credit facilities worth approximately US$850mm. · Led transactions exceeding US$530mm with local and international banks including raising fresh debt, enhancing existing facilities and debt re-profiling.

· Led a team of two relationship managers with 18 corporate relationships having credit portfolio of approximately US$170mm and annual trade volumes exceeding US$200mm. The portfolio comprised of well diversified clientele belonging to Leather and Textiles, Trading, Chemicals, Automobile allied, Confectionaries, Cement and Power.· Led country wide stress test activity to determine the impact of PKR devaluation on the Bank’s corporate banking portfolio.· Million Dollar Tax Savings Initiative – Self initiated study on saving Federal Excise Duty (FED) expense and presented my findings and proposal to senior management for implementation of automated FED recovery from clients which resulted in approximately US$1mm of annual savings.

· Managed credit portfolio consisting of 10 Corporate Relationships. The bank had recently undergone acquisition by the new sponsors and was going through its initial consolidation phase. Hence, the role was primarily focused on realigning existing credit portfolio with the new management’s business strategy and credit policy.

· Managed Corporate Relationships with credit exposure over US$100mm. The role involved analysis of clients’ financials, assessment of client’s credit worthiness through verbal and written market checks.• Joined as Management Trainee and subsequently placed in Corporate Banking as Relationship Manager after completion of 1½ years’ on-job training through General Banking, Trade Finance and Credit departments. • Reported to Team Leader and supervised a Relationship Associate.
