Pursuing a degree at the University of Toronto exploring justice and critical theory. My degree marries my (deeply intertwined) passions for law and justice-seeking. For many years, I have done grassroots activism and organizing, working on projects of prevention, crisis response, and everything in between. Contemporarily, I gained a wealth of experience in oral advocacy — I am a highly skilled and decorated competitor in public speaking, mooting, arbitration, and mock trial tournaments. I am a coach, sharpening others' (trial and appeal) advocacy skills with my knowledge. I will ultimately pursue a career in law. But, before pursuing my juris doctorate, I intend to build a career in grassroots education, legal, health, and crisis services.
