🚲 Project on bicycle road condition :🔷Conducted various tasks related to data collection, data cleaning, and classification model development for bicycle road conditions.🔷 Structured data received from CANBus and added properties to MQTT messages.🔷 Integrated GPS and troubleshot hardware issues.🔷 Built a classification model using the XGBoost algorithm to classify different types of roads.🔷 Tools used: Python, Git,RabbitMQ, Raspberry Pi, JavaScript, AWS.🧮 Prediction model for counting visitors:🔷 Explored various time series models like ARIMA, SARIMAX, Exponential smoothing, FB Prophet, XGBoost, etc.🔷 Developed a prediction model including data preparation, feature engineering, model testing, and deployment as a microservice.🔷 Developed a script to calculate anomalies, set up an email server via SendGrid, and deployed the anomaly detection model.🔷 Tools used: Python, Git,scikit-learn, Streamlit, Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine, SendGrid.📍 Indoor localization:🔷 Explored and tested Trilateration theory and fingerprinting algorithms.🔷 Conducted data analysis, algorithm testing, and developed visualizations using Streamlit.🔷 Tools used: Python, Git,scikit-learn, Streamlit, Raspberry Pi, iBeacon, Kalman filter, Mosquito MQTT

Research area: Electric vehicles, especially heavy-duty electric vehicles, when interacting with the grid via vehicle-to-grid (V2G). Assessing the technical, economic, and environmental impact of such activity. Involved in EU projects 'ORCA', 'ASSURED,' 'B2C-V2G', and Flanders project 'OPTIBIDS' related to the research. Deleloved Python-based web app model which --models the vehicle driving and charging behavior --evaluate net profit for engaging vehicles in V2G --calculates Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). --estimates environmental impact by using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method powered by the 'Brightway2' python package.
