From youth, my life has unfolded along two parallel paths: leadership/mentorship/coaching and animal care/health. My passion for leading and coaching evolved into a career in leadership, from local/regional appointments to national level positions. My animal wellness passion, manifested into a career, across the U.S., in equine health management, training, and education. My success stems from the privilege of working with a diverse network of mentors and colleagues.My greatest strength lies in my ability to work with people: to communicate with strong interpersonal skills, transparency, integrity, and handle every situation with a solution-based approach. I believe the success of an organization is dependent on the customers’ experience with those who represent the organization. And this is why excellence in written/oral communication, customer relations, and solution problem solving are essential in retaining and expanding the customer base. I have over 20 years of work experience in doing just this in a variety of leadership and management positions.The values that are core to who I am are a sense of respect and empathy towards others, accountability, and a passion and commitment for the work I do; I will always go the extra mile. I have earned a reputation for dealing with complex situations with an “unflappable calm and composed nature” until a positive and productive outcome is achieved.
