Under the supervision of Dr. Nicholas Jacobson, the Tracking Depression Study seeks to better understand depression using various forms of passive data to create more personal and adaptable evidence-based treatment. My specific role includes conducting virtual interviews with participants in order to determine eligibility for the main interview as a part of the pre-screening process. As well, I complete debriefing meetings with participants, gathering feedback on their experience, explaining the data provided in their personalized study report, and gathering data on their comfort regarding data collection. Additional responsibilities include sending weekly check-in emails to participants.
