•Monitors the regulatory framework and transactional activity of the Customers for developing and applying the proper criteria for ML/FT assessment.•Conducts investigations over Customers after receiving information associated with suspicious transactions through the Suspicious Activity Reports in accordance with the size and the nature of their business relationship, as well as their designated transactional and financial profile.•Collects information and conducts formal analysis regarding the evaluation of Suspicious Activity Reports.•Ensures a timely and effective communication process with the Business areas, providing guidance to competent officers.•Ensures the completeness and accuracy of the data and documentation required for the Customers KYC verification and collaborates with the Branches and competent Business areas to resolve errors and unresolved issues.•Prepares comprehensive and well documented Suspicious Transactions Reports, in terms of their potential submission to the competent National Authority (FIU).
