Project: Grand Egyptian Museum, Egypt; Budget: US $800m Responsibility as head of project management and operations management services for all infrastructure networks systems of the new Cairo Museum Leading and managing personnel, engendering an environment of high motivation, positive engagement and providing the support required to ensure the delivery of optimal performance Liaising effectively with all stakeholders regarding project planning to ensure the achievement of all deadlines and cost control to ensure adherence to budgetary restrictions Managing all aspects of the value engineering operation, including preparing and assessing value engineering strategy design and producing comprehensive progress reports for the client Reviewing and evaluating contractors’ value engineering proposals and reporting on the impact of the client value engineering works on the budgetProducing and updating accurate, detailed and timely PMC monthly reports on value engineering, infrastructure and interfaces with external authorities Coordinating various infrastructure activities, dealing with contractor requests for information, and reviewing and supervising contractor survey works Supervising and inspecting onsite works to ensure the highest standards on quality and accuracy Organizing utilities/services required for project implementation Proactively contributing to weekly and monthly progress meetings to provide updates and resolve issues

Project: Al Fateh University, Libya; Budget: US $1bn Working on two campuses of 300 and 35 hectares respectively with buildings exceeding 1.0 mil Sq. m Following up inspectors' duties on daily basis and monitoring contractors’ infrastructure progress to ensure all expected levels of quality and accuracy are achieved in line with agreed timescales Conducting thorough reviews and subsequently approving materials and workmanship Preparing monthly presentation and maps, and contributing to weekly and monthly meetings to ensure the progress and resolve any issues Reviewing CD, including drawings, Bills of Quantities, technical specifications, calculation sheets and all associated infrastructure networks documents Leading and managing numerous contractors and quality assuring their survey worksAssessing contractor submitted working drawings and statements of construction to ensure adherence to technical specifications and drawings

Managing all pre-construction activities in terms of the build and design of projects, issuing building permits and establishing project schedule and timeframes Creating and controlling a budget and ensuring the highly cost effective allocation of financial resources Overseeing all construction activities, verifying and implementing changes to design and schedules, and amending timeframes according to available resources Verifying field measurement of survey team for final design and quality assuring all completed work Producing daily construction logs for ongoing projects, monitoring daily site productivity to make sure progression is at a sufficient pace and reporting to the owner on progress and profitability Preparing monthly reports containing Bill Of Quantities for submission to the Employer
