Anastasios Michailidis holds a BSc degree in Physics and an MSc diploma in Electronic Physics (Radioelectronics) from the Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree with the same university, focusing on high-speed interface integrated circuit design, simulation and verification. To this day, he was involved into three integrated circuit design projects, targeting from low-frequency to mmWave applications. His main responsibility was the development of complex integrated circuits, specifically designed according to the respective application, such as transconductance amplifiers and ultra-low frequency active filters, Digital-to-Analog Converters for high-speed interfacing, on-chip electromagnetic simulations and modeling for EM validation and front-end RX/TX circuit block development and analysis. He has experience on several technology process nodes, namely 180 nm CMOS, 130 nm SiGe BiCMOS, 65 nm RF-CMOS and 22 nm CMOS Fully-Depleted Silicon-on-Insulator (FD-SOI). He holds 10+ publications in international journals and conferences, covering challenging topics in integrated circuit design such as noise analysis, advanced signal integrity simulations, analog design cycle speedup approaches using Machine Learning and analog design flows for IC simulation and validation (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0005-2316). He is also collaborating with the Forschungs- und Technologie-Zentrum Detektorphysik (FTD), Universität Bonn, focusing on the design of high-speed ASIC front-end readout systems for 3D pixel detectors.
